Our Story...
Esk & Tide is an independent studio based in Whitby, North Yorkshire, specialising in bespoke mosaic frames and handcrafted jewellery. Every piece is entirely one of a kind, created using historic pottery fragments personally foraged from the local shoreline. Shaped by time and tide, these antique shards are brought together into unique mosaics and wearable art that capture the enduring beauty of the sea and the very soul of Whitby.
Esk & Tide began in May 2026 on the ancient streets of Pompeii. Inspired by mosaics that survived beneath volcanic ash for nearly two thousand years, we set out to discover our own unique creative style. Now, back home in Whitby, we bring that same inspiration into every piece we craft.
